I'm Kevin DeLury. Thanks for stopping by. Here's a little about me.
I'm not the smartest person in any room I walk into. I never have been.
What I'm good at is recognizing the people who are. Putting them where they can do their best work, then clearing the noise so they can do it.
Mostly that means translating the request, no matter how jumbled or vague, so the creative team isn't guessing. Catching the compliance issue before it becomes a problem. Documenting what works so everyone's on the same page.
My goal is to run the kind of operation that makes the visible product look easy.
I'm not the smartest person in any room I walk into. I never have been.
Regulated industries. Insurance, fintech, healthcare, financial services, anything with a serious legal review. Getting creative work through a compliance read is something I’ve gotten really good at.
I've done it under federal tobacco regulation, under Fortune 500 brand standards, and under insurance-industry rules. It's pretty much become my wheelhouse.
A few things up front so we don't waste each other's time.
I work remotely. I'm good at it. I've been doing it for years.
I'm only looking for full-time, salaried roles right now.
If you're not sure I'm the right fit, a five-minute phone call usually clears it up. Send me an email and we'll figure it out together.
Since you're here.
First concert. Danzig, with Type O Negative and Godflesh opening. December 6, 1994, Indianapolis. I was 13 and had no business being there. Still one of the defining nights of my life.
Album I've never gotten sick of. This Will Be the Death of Us, Set Your Goals.
Movie I never get sick of. Pulp Fiction. Yes, it's the most basic answer possible. No, I don't care.
Best superhero. Cyclops. Leadership is thankless, and Wolverine should absolutely be on a PIP.
Thing I'm bad at. In the words of Phil Collins: I can't dance.
